Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our full-day snowmobile tour that covers 120 kilometers of pristine white trails! Explore the breathtaking landscapes between Björkliden and Riksgränsen, tracing the Norwegian border, and venturing back through the scenic valley of Abisko National Park.
The day begins with an immersive introduction to snowmobiling in the area.
Equipped with everything you need for spending day outside; you’ll be introduced to your snowmobile by our certified guides. With their expertise leading the way, you’ll feel confident as you navigate the snowy terrain.
The first part of the tour leads thru frozen lake Torneträsk, that is the biggest mountain lake in Scandinavia. On our way to Riksgränsen and to the Norwegian boarder we make several stops for pictures and local stories. We continue further thru varieties terrain up to Sjangeli copper mine. Being surrounded by breathtaking views, its time for a warm lunch! On the way back we follow the famous King’s Trail. In the birch forest landscape, we have chance to observe different animals that live in Abisko National Park.
Traditionally in Sami culture there are eight seasons, and the return of the sun announces the spring-winter. During this special time, days become longer, whereas visitors can still enjoy full winter conditions. Celebrate the return of the sun with us on our full day snowmobile “the sun is out-back tour”!
NOTE:
This tour includes the pick-up service from Abisko/Björkliden, please be ready for pick up at your pick-up location at time. Note that the pick-up can take up to 30 min.
Driving license is required on this tour. If you don´t want to drive your own machine, please contact us.
