1.Usage of the equipment

The equipment and its belongings may be used for normal driving in Sweden. The vehicle may only be driven by you.  You are not allowed to bring the equipment outside Sweden without the rental services consent. If you transport the equipment outside Sweden you are responsible for any cost this bring about. You are not allowed to rent the equipment and its belongings to a third part.

2. Rental price and delay in payment

Rent for the equipment is specified on homepage or by any means from Outback Abisko. You are responsible for the payment of rent. The rental service have the right to request deposit amount or advance rent. If sending an invoice Outback Abisko owns the right to charge a service charge of SEK 50:- inc VAT. If the renter does not pay the rent on due date, penalty interest, after an interest rate set equal to the national bank discount rate plus 8 percent and a reminder fee of SEK 50:- inc VAT.

3. Delayed or not delivered equipment

The rental service shall provide the equipment and its belongings at the time agreed. If the rental service can’t deliver in time you are entitled to a reduction of rent equal to the delay. You are not entitled to terminate the agreement if the rental service provides equivalent equipment. The rental service is free from responsibility if the deleyment is caused by conditions beyond its control that could not reasonably been foreseen when the contract was concluded and whose consequences could reasonably been avoided or overcome.

4. Equipment Maintenance

You are responsible for the equipment to be cared for properly and to ensure that it is maintained in operable and lawful state. The rental service owns the right to inspect the equipment during the rental period.

5. Measures in case of failure, damage and theft

You shall, as soon as possible, notify the rental service of defects, damages or theft of the equipment and its belongings during the rental period. The rental service will after such notice, notify you of the measures to be taken. You are responsible for storing the rented equipment in a safe place to avoid the possibilities of theft and vandalism. For negligence to fulfil previous statements, you are responsible for compensating any damage incurred thereby.

6. Responsibility for damage- and/or loss of the vehicle

You are responsible that the equipment and its belongings is not damaged during the rental period. You are obligated to pay all reparations. If the equipment or any of its belongings is stolen you have to pay 100% of the market value. If the rented equipment upon return is worn or soiled beyond that resulting of normal use, the rental service will charge a reasonable fee for the restoration of the equipment. Salvage cost starts from SEK1000 inc. VAT. A fee of SEK300 inc. VAT will be applied for each hour exceeding stated time the MTB and its belongings was to be delivered back to the service.

7. Limiting damage

You are responsible to minimize all risks of damaging the equipment.

8. Return

At lease expiration, you shall return the equipment to the place of the rental or in place specially agreed. You have the right to return the equipment before the expiry of the agreed rental period, but are still obligated to pay the agreed rent. When you return the equipment it must be in the same condition as when you rented it, apart from normal usage. The rental service and you shall, if possible, jointly inspect the equipment. You are obliged to pay additional rent if the return is delayed.

9. Rental services right of cancellation, etc.

The rental service has the right to terminate the agreement of:

1. You fail to fulfil your payment obligations to the rental service
2. The equipment is exposed to abnormal operation or used in a way that risks damage beyond repair
3. You otherwise violate this agreement
