GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS FOR SNOWMOBILE

1.Usage of the vehicle

The vehicle may be used for normal driving in Sweden. The vehicle may only be driven by you. If any other person is driving, special permission from the rental service is required. You are responsible that anyone driving the vehicle is authorized to drive the vehicle. You are not allowed to bring the vehicle outside Sweden without the rental services written consent. If you transport the vehicle outside Sweden you are responsible for any cost this bring about. You are not allowed to rent the vehicle to a third part. You are not allowed to transport passengers or cargo for compensation from a third part. You are not allowed to use the vehicle to pull, push or otherwise move other vehicles. It is now allowed to use the vehicle in motor racing.

  1. Rental price and delay in payment

Rent for the vehicle is specified on homepage or by any means from Outback Abisko. You are responsible for the payment of rent. In cases when you are not the driver, the driver is responsible for the payment in solidarity with you. The rental service have the right to request deposit amount or advance rent. The rent does not include the cost of fuel. If sending an invoice Outback Abisko owns the right to charge a service charge of SEK 50:- inc VAT. If the renter does not pay the rent on due date, penalty interest, after an interest rate set equal to the national bank discount rate plus 8 percent and a reminder fee of SEK 50:- inc VAT.

  1. Delayed or not delivered vehicle

The rental service shall provide the vehicle at the time agreed. If the rental service can’t deliver in time you are entitled to a reduction of rent equal to the delay. You are not entitled to terminate the agreement if the rental service provides another equivalent vehicle. The rental service is free from responsibility if the delayment is caused by conditions beyond its control that could not reasonably been foreseen when the contract was concluded and whose consequences could reasonably been avoided or overcome.

  1. Vehicle Maintenance

You are responsible for the vehicle to be cared for properly and to ensure that it is maintained in operable and lawful state. The rental service owns the right to inspect the vehicle during the rental period.

  1. Measures in case of failure, damage and theft

You shall, as soon as possible, notify the rental service of defects, damages or theft of the vehicle during the rental period. The rental service will after such notice, notify you of the measures to be taken. You are responsible for parking the vehicle in a safe place to avoid the possibilities of theft and vandalism. For negligence to fulfil previous statements, you are responsible for any damage incurred thereby.

  1. Responsibility for damage- and/or loss of the vehicle

You are responsible that the vehicle is not damaged during the rental period. You are obligated to pay all reparations. Excess of SEK 8000:- will be charged if the vehicle is stolen or if repair costs exceed SEK 8000:-. If the vehicle is stolen together with its key you have to pay 100% of the market value of the vehicle. If the vehicle upon return is worn or soiled beyond that resulting of normal use, the rental service will charge a reasonable fee for the restoration of the vehicle. Salvage cost starts from SEK 3000 inc. VAT for each snowmobile. A fee of SEK 300 inc. VAT will be applied for each hour exceeding stated time the snowmobile was to be delivered back to the rental service.

  1. Limiting damage

You are responsible to minimize all risks of damaging the vehicle.

  1. Return

At lease expiration, you shall return the vehicle to the place of the rental or in place specially agreed. You have the right to return the vehicle before the expiry of the agreed rental period, but are still obligated to pay the agreed rent. When you return the vehicle it must be in the same condition as when you rented it, apart from normal usage. The rental service and you shall, if possible, jointly inspect the vehicle. You are obliged to pay additional rent if the return is delayed.

  1. Rental services right of cancellation, etc.

The rental service has the right to terminate the agreement of:

  1. You fail to fulfil your payment obligations to the rental service
  2. The vehicle is exposed to abnormal operation or used in a way that risks damage beyond repair
  3. You otherwise violate this agreement
